    Twinned Town visit – The Mayor from Nissewaard in the Netherlands

    As part of the Jubilee celebrations Thetford was visited by some representatives from our Twinned towns.
    The Mayor from Nissewaard in the Netherlands visited Thetford on 2nd June and met with our Mayor and our councillors.
    Here is a video their team created from their visit to Thetford.
    “Once every few years the mayors meet. This time it was during the celebration of the Queens Jubilee and our mayor Foort van Oosten paid a visit for a day, where he was warmly welcomed by the council and the mayor.”
