A quick and easy method to contact the relevant authority/department for issues across a range of council services in Thetford.
Thetford is a vibrant and active place to live and work with a myriad of activities, events and groups that constantly strive to make our town the place we love; these are driven by people that go above and beyond and work tirelessly as volunteers to benefit the wider Community. On behalf of the residents of our town, Thetford Town Council would like to recognise those that give so much to us, by introducing an annual Citizen’s & Junior Citizen Award, nominated by you, the people that benefit, to shine a light on the work of some of our unsung heroes.
Nominations must be submitted by 12noon, 2nd March 2020 and the top three nominations in both categories will be invited to the Annual Meeting of Thetford Town Council at the Carnegie on Tuesday 5th May 2020 when the two winners will be announced and presented with their Awards.
Cllr. Jane James, Chair of Civic Committee said this on the awards:
“There are so many people in Thetford who constantly give so much of their time to organise, support and deliver a wealth of projects and events, which enhance and protect our community so the many can enjoy and benefit. Those people do it, not seeking recognition but because they genuinely care and love our Town, and our Community is richer for their efforts.
Thetford Town Council are keen to celebrate that commitment which provides such a positive effect on our town; please nominate someone who you know gives so much, so we can give a little back”
