Spaceships, Evil Women and Blue Skies – ELO Encounter

This past weekend we had the utmost pleasure of having the ELO Ecounter come to the Carnegie Room to play some of ELO’s greatest hits!

The Carnegie Room was sold out and people were flooding into the hall, people getting in an hour early just to reserve some of the best seats in the house.

By the end of the night people were up from their seats and dancing at the feet of the band.

The band finished and left stage but one song had still not been played… After the crowd begged for them to come back on, they returned and played their arguable most famous song ‘Mr Blue Sky’. Here is a little snippet of the song and a look at how great the band were:

ELO Enounter will hopefully be returning next year and I for one will be sure to book my tickets well in advanced for this excellent evening.
