Over the last year thanks to a National Heritage Lottery grant we have undertaken extensive internal and external refurbishment works to the Guildhall.
The main part of those refurbishments is coming to completion, and we will be reopening the Guildhall very soon as a vibrant, exciting place for residents and visitors alike to enjoy, experience and engage within and as part of enthralling ‘Stories of the Guildhall’.
An important part of the Guildhall will be a dedicated Tea Room and therefore we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic member of our expanding Events & Hospitality team to supervise and deliver the Tea Room operation.
The successful person will be a professional with experience of working within a hospitality environment, creative and enthusiastic in terms of driving the overall development of the Guildhall and wider venue and town events programme.
