Thetford Town Council manage several wonderful open spaces including the SSSI Barnham Cross Common, woodlands and the Little Ouse and Thet riverside areas.

Thetford Town Council are a project lead on the Brecks Fen Edge Rivers Landscape Partnership Scheme, and we are a partner in plastic pollution and litter picking schemes. We have a fantastic group of volunteers who have carried out work across the town who the post holder would engage with and manage their activities.

The Council is constantly seeking ways to improve our land management and to engage the public in the care of, education and enjoyment of all our assets. This role is vital to the success of engagement.
