The closing date for Thetford Town Council’s medium grant scheme is the 31^st of August 2017.  The Town Council offers the opportunity to community groups and not for profit organisations to apply for a financial grant of up to £2000. The council is looking forward to receiving applications from all parts of the Thetford community.

The Town Council is keen to fund new projects and activities that improve the town’s facilities, reputation and activities.

If you miss the deadline for a medium grant, you can still apply for a small grant of up to £300, which can be applied for throughout the year.

There are certain criteria that must be met to be eligible for a community grant these are set out in the council’s Grants Policy that is available from the town council’s website https://thetfordtowncouncil.gov.uk/council/documents/  We do stipulate to be eligible for a medium grant that organisations need to provide audited accounts. The level of audit will depend on the size and complexity of the organisation. The minimum level of audit we require is verified accounts by and independent assessor.
