    Job Vacancy – Thetford Town Council Venues & Events Officer.

    We have a wonderful opportunity for someone to join our Venues team as the Venues & Events Officer.

    We require a person who is ambitious, energetic and customer friendly to engage and work with all the users and hirers of the Carnegie & Guildhall.

    The role is a 30 hours per week position that will require the successful candidate to work across a flexible weekly work pattern, therefore will include weekend duties when required.

    You will work closely in further developing our own TTC events programme within the 300-seater Carnegie venue and neighbouring Guildhall, to facilitate and support the delivery of a number of music, conference and training, comedy and spoken word events together with a vibrant party and celebration/reception programme.

    It is a varied and challenging role that would suit a person who has worked within a hospitality and events environment that is ambitious to develop their skills further within a supportive and an ever-growing Team.

    Deadline for application submissions – Wednesday 9th August 2023 with interviews conducted the following week on Thursday 17th August 2023 at times to be confirmed with each candidate.
