The Mayor, Cllr Denis Crawford, on behalf of Thetford Town Council invites you all to our Annual Ceremony to Fly a Flag for the Commonwealth. The ceremony will be held outside King’s House at 9.50am on Monday 12 March – Commonwealth Day 2018. At 10am the Town Council will join over 950 other organisations across the globe and raise the Commonwealth flag in a shared celebration of the values of the Commonwealth, and the opportunities offered for friendship and co-operation with fellow Commonwealth citizens around the world.
