Last night a Special Full Council meeting was held to discuss the progression of the councillor vacancy for Boudicca ward. The co-option policy was revised and amended for discussion at the meeting. Further amendments were proposed at the meeting and councillors agreed to refer the policy back to Personnel Committee which takes place Friday 21st February at 10am. for the proposals to be considered and policy revised.

Further discussed followed to the options available to fill the vacancy. Unfortunately, there was not a consensus for the way forward at this stage.
