On Monday 14th March Thetford Town Council is taking part in a Fly the Flag ceremony to celebrate Commonwealth Day 2016.

The ceremony will commence at 10:00 hrs outside Kings House where the Mayor will give a short reading whilst the flag is raised. This will be followed by a private act of commemoration in remembrance of those who died in war, attended by the town council and invited guests.
