A quick and easy method to contact the relevant authority/department for issues across a range of council services in Thetford.
Due to increased demand the Thetford Citizens Advice offices will be open for an additional day each week, and the opening hours will be changing too. So, from Tuesday 22 September, the new hours will be 9.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m., and the office will be open four days per week, from Tuesday to Friday.
You may also have noticed that our logo has also been tweaked to give it a fresh new look to reflect our modern service to the community.
If you need advice you can go to our website – www.citizensadvice.org.uk – which is packed with information and guidance on a wide range of topics including debt, housing, benefits, employment and consumer issues. Alternatively you can drop in to see us on Level 3 of Breckland House in St Nicholas Street (opposite the new bus station) where one of our advisers will be happy to offer free, confidential and impartial advice. There is no need to make an appointment as we run a “drop-in” service each day, first come first served.
Also, if you have a couple of hours to spare and would like to volunteer with us, in return we offer quality training and support in areas such as giving advice, administrative work, and/or reception (and, with our extended opening, we will warmly welcome more volunteers).
Please pop in or telephone if you would like to speak to us about anything referred to above on 01842 752777.
At the moment you can contact us on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. but please don’t forget that, from 22 September, we will be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.
