The Guildhall is a historic part of Thetford Town. The current building was erected in 1902 but a plaque inside says it stands on the site of an earlier hall built in 1337 and it is thought that another preceded that. It is situated on the Market Place in Thetford Town Centre.
This room – The Council Chamber – is a small furnished room capable of seating up to 40 people, this is ideal for meetings, interviews, childrens groups and any small gatherings.
The Guildhall Tea Room is open Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday 10am-2:30pm and can be used during these times for booking refreshments during bookings. Refreshments can still be prepared for the event regardless of time frame.
